Job Description.
Examine numerous customs concerns filed by various departments and offer
suggestions based on thorough legal research and compliance with customs rules,
such as issuing penalties and implementing suitable processes to guarantee
effective collection.
I am preparing law manuals, letters, circulars, and awareness bulletins on
customs infractions, smuggling offenses, and fines to raise awareness and
communication about pertinent developments.
Contribute to the development or improvement of the customs problem management
system, which will improve the department's capacity to handle issues
effectively and efficiently.
Prepare drafts of judgments, bulletins, and directions to ensure that replies
to external queries are accurate and legally correct.
To ensure successful handling of legal matters, follow up and update them. This
includes recording customs cases for follow-up and providing comments to
customs centers to prevent case escalation.
To ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments, it
is necessary to update and prepare reports, cases, fine judgments, and
contracts on a regular basis.
We are summarizing reports and information on violators and smugglers so that
interested parties may avoid such activity.
We facilitate the reconciliation process between Dubai Customs and the
offending parties, and ensure support for the advancement of cases in the
courts or prosecution, by providing pertinent information and obtaining written
consent.
Dubai Customs' vision guides the implementation and development of the legal
department's strategy through action plans, ensuring strategic alignment.
Create an electronic repository of case information for future reference, and
extract statistical data from instances.
I ensure the protection of the organization's legal interests by representing
Dubai Customs before external authorities, and I also sign contracts,
agreements, and certifications on their behalf before a notary.
The direct management assigns any responsibilities to me in a timely and
reliable manner, while I maintain integrity and strive to complete the assigned
tasks to the best of my abilities.
We are maintaining confidentiality by Dubai Customs Department information
security rules and procedures to prevent disclosure or abuse.
We uphold confidentiality by following Dubai Customs' information security
guidelines and protocols to avoid information leakage or misuse.
Qualifications
Minimum academic credentials.
Bachelor's degree in law
Practical experience.
