Job Description.
An Architectural Project Manager oversees and manages architectural projects
from start to finish. This comprises planning, design coordination, budgeting,
scheduling, and assuring adherence to construction laws and regulations. The
Architectural Project Manager should have a thorough grasp of architectural
concepts, as well as exceptional project management and communication
abilities. They will collaborate closely with architects, engineers,
contractors, and clients to complete projects within the scope, timeframe, and
budget.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage architectural projects from beginning to end.
• Develop project scope, goals, and deliverables in partnership with clients
and stakeholders.
• Create and monitor project schedules to ensure timeliness and milestones are
met.
• Work with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure
successful cooperation and integration of project components.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and concerns, and take remedial
action.
• Ensure adherence to construction rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Make frequent site visits to monitor building progress and address any design
or technical difficulties.
• Manage project budgets and costs to guarantee cost-effective project
delivery.
• Generate and deliver project status reports to customers and stakeholders.
• Develop strong connections with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and
repeat business.
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in architecture, project management, or a comparable
discipline.
• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is recommended.
• Previous experience as an architectural project manager or in a comparable
function.
• Strong project management and organizing abilities.
• Excellent understanding of architectural concepts, construction rules, and
regulations.
